APRIL – 2021
1. As a part of two major programmes in a month state wide, Observe “World Health day” on 07.04.2021 and arrange Health Camps with the specialist doctors in coordination with Health Department, NGOs etc. 2. As a part of two major programmes in a month state wide, organize awareness programme on NALSA (Victims of Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation) Scheme, 2015 on 24.04.2021. 3. Conducting of National Lok Adalat on 10.04.2021 for settlement of pending and pre-litigation Cases as per the instructions of NALSA by creating awareness about the National Lok Adalats among the public at large through print and electronic media, local cable network and by distribution of pamphlets and by conducting meetings with the police officials, bank officials, insurance companies etc. 4. Visit to Juvenile Homes, Observation Homes and Oldage Homes along with Panel Lawyer and if any deficiencies are pointed out, necessary steps are to be taken on urgent basis under due intimation to the State Authority. 5 Review of functioning of Legal Aid Clinics / Village Care and Support Centres and take steps for deletion of un-productive centres and setup new centres wherever necessary and also review of the functioning of Front Offices and the work of the PLVs, and to take steps for removal of the PLVs on the ground of disqualification, if any and to identify new enthusiastic PLVS. 6 Monthly Meetings of Monitoring & Mentoring Committees and submission of bi-monthly Monitoring & Mentoring Committee reports to the State Authority 7 Sensitization Programme / Orientation programme to the Panel Lawyers in Legal Aid Centres attached to Juvenile Justice Boards and the Panel Lawyers attached to other Legal Aid Clinics in the respective Units including Jail visiting Panel Lawyers.To conduct Under Trial Prisoners Review Committee Meeting as per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in WP (C ) No.406 / 2013 in the case in In-human condition in 1382 prisons and to submit quarterly reports periodically to Telangana State Legal Services Authority (for the quarter from April, 2021 to June, 2021).Visit to Jails along with Panel Lawyer and deficiencies (if any) pointed out during the course of jail visits and steps taken in that regard, awareness to prisoners and conducting Jail Adalats. 8 To conduct Under Trial Prisoners Review Committee Meeting as per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in WP (C ) No.406 / 2013 in the case in In-human condition in 1382 prisons and to submit quarterly reports periodically to Telangana State Legal Services Authority (for the quarter from April, 2021 to June, 2021). 9 Legal Awareness Camp on Fundamental Rights and duties under Indian Constitution on the eve of “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanthi” on 14.04.2021. 10 Legal Literacy Camps (not less than 4 by DLSA's and MLSC's) including Legal Literacy Camp on the subject Permanent Lok Adalats its scope and benefits and one on Mediation and benefits. Conduct meeting with Panel Lawyers to enhance their quality of work and also conduct Plea Bargaining Camps in Jails. -
MAY – 2021
1 To organize Sensitization Programme to the Team of Panel Lawyers and PLVs on NALSA Schemes 2015 and 2016 and to chalk out the modalities for better implementation of NALSA Schemes. 2 As a part of two major programmes in a month state wide, observe “International Labour Day” on 01.05.2021. Conduct Legal Awareness Camps in work places, enlighten the workers about their rights and the schemes introduced by the Government in relation to NALSA (Legal Services to the workers in Unorganized Sector) Scheme, 2015. 3 As a part of two major programmes in a month state wide, organize awareness programme on NALSA (Legal Services to Disaster Victims through Legal Services Authorities) Scheme, 2015 on 15.05.2021. Scheme, 2015on 04.07.2020. 4 Review of functioning of Legal Aid Clinics / Village Care and Support Centres and take steps for deletion of un-productive centres and setup new centres wherever necessary and also review of the functioning of Front Offices and the work of the PLVs, and to take steps for removal of the PLVs on the ground of disqualification, if any and to identify new enthusiastic PLVS. 5 Visit to Juvenile Homes, Observation Homes and Oldage Homes along with Panel Lawyer and if any deficiencies are pointed out, necessary steps are to be taken on urgent basis under due intimation to the State Authority. 6 Visit to Jails along with Panel Lawyer and deficiencies (if any) pointed out during the course of jail visits and steps taken in that regard, and also to conduct Jail Adalats as per feasibility. 7 Sensitization Programme on Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 8 Monthly Meetings of Monitoring & Mentoring Committees/ Statutory Meeting of DLSA's 9 Legal Literacy Camps (not less than 4 by DLSA's and MLSC's) including Legal Literacy Camp on the subject Permanent Lok Adalats its scope and benefits and one on Mediation and benefits. JULY– 2021
1 Legal Services Camp Module fixed by NALSA (to be conducted by one district per month as fixed by TSLSA (separate district wise schedule will be issued). 2 To organize meetings with the Stakeholders in respect of NALSA Schemes, 2015 and 2016 by involving the Nodal Officer for arriving an Action Plan for better implementation of the NALSA Schemes. 3 As a part of two major programmes in a month state wide, organize awareness programme on NALSA (Legal Services to the Mentally Ill and Mentally Disabled Persons) Scheme, 2015 on 03.07.2021. 4 As a part of two major programmes in a month state wide, conduct Legal Awareness Programme on Ragging Menace on 24.07.2021 in schools and colleges 5 To conduct Under Trial Prisoners Review Committee Meeting as per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in WP (C ) No.406 / 2013 in the case in In-human condition in 1382 prisons and to submit quarterly reports periodically to Telangana State Legal Services Authority (for the quarter from July, 2021 to September, 2021) 6 Conducting of National Lok Adalat on 10.07.2021 for settlement of pending and pre-litigation Cases as per the instructions of NALSA by creating awareness about the National Lok Adalats among the public at large through print and electronic media, local cable network and by distribution of pamphlets and by conducting meetings with the police officials, bank officials, insurance companies etc. 7 Meetings with Legal Aid Counsel attached to Magistrate Courts, Jail Visiting Lawyers and give necessary instructions to them in pursuance of the instructions given in the Under Trial Review Committee meetings. 8 Visit to Jails along with Panel lawyer and deficiencies (if any) pointed out during the course of jail visits and steps taken in that regard and conducting Jail Adalats as per feasibility. 9 Visit to Juvenile Homes, Observation Homes and Oldage Homes along with Panel Lawyer and if any deficiencies are pointed out, necessary steps are to be taken on urgent basis under due intimation to the State Authority. 10. Observation of “Mental Health Day”, 2021 on 10.10.2021 and conduct Awareness programme in the line of NALSA (Legal Services to the Mentally Ill and Mentally Disabled Persons) Scheme, 2015. 4. As a part of two major programmes in a month state wide, observe “International girl child day” on 11.10.2021 and conduct awareness programmes on rights of girl child. 5. As a part of two major programmes in a month state wide, observe “Human Rights Day”, 2021 on 10.12.2021. Conduct seminars and arrange awareness programmes. 5. Monthly Meetings of Monitoring & Mentoring Committees/ Statutory Meeting of DLSA's and submission of bi-monthly Monitoring & Mentoring Committee reports to the State Authority 5. Visit to Jails along with Panel Lawyer and deficiencies (if any) pointed out during the course of jail visits and steps taken in that regard and conducting Jail Adalats as per feasibility. 7. Visit to Juvenile Homes, Observation Homes and Oldage Homes along with Panel Lawyer and if any deficiencies are pointed out, necessary steps are to be taken on urgent basis under due intimation to the State Authority. 8. Sensitization Programme / Orientation programme to the Panel Lawyers in Legal Aid Centres attached to Juvenile Justice Boards and the Panel Lawyers attached to other Legal Aid Clinics in the respective Units including Jail visiting Panel Lawyers. 9. Visit to Jails along with Panel Lawyer and deficiencies (if any) pointed out during the course of jail visits and steps taken in that regard, and conducting Jail Adalats as per feasibility. 10. Legal Literacy Camps (not less than 4 by DLSA's and MLSC's) including Legal Literacy Camp on the subject Permanent Lok Adalats its scope and benefits and one on Mediation and benefits. Conduct meeting with Panel Lawyers to enhance their quality of work and also conduct Plea Bargaining Camps in Jails.
